The Social - Severna Park: Reviews & Ratings
My fiancé and I shared the Crab dip which was good but overpriced for how little they gave us. He got the Baltimorean and I got the Shrimp Salad Sandwich, which were both very good but on the pricey side. I also got a $5 orange crush because it was happy hour so that was nice. All in all a cute spot with nice vibes and good music, good food but a bit on the pricey side. Their food menu was smaller than the drink menu, they should really be labeled as a bar but they also have a kids menu so that was kinda weird. Probably won't go back unless it's a special occasion because the prices but we had a good time and enjoyed our food
My husband and I went to The Social last night and had a really great experience. The bartenders were knowledgeable and quick. They made great cocktails and gave us food recommendations. We got the mussels, a burger, and the buffalo chicken salad. Everything was tasted really good, came out quick, and the food runners were sweet and attentive. We will definitely come back!
We visited The Social for lunch. This place was very clean and nice with a big parking lot. The Social is fully handicap accessible. The food was good. The service was okay. They could have been a little more attentive. We did have to wait a little longer than I thought we should have, but it wasn't bad. We had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (good flavor but a little leafy), The Baltimorean (this thing is huge), the only grilled cheese you will ever want (grilled well. The jam gives it a unique taste) Fried Pickles (some of the best fried pickles you will ever have) White Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding (it was big and delicious but didn't get much chocolate chips)
The Social is our go to place! The drinks are great and the staff is always attentive with the bartenders being some of the best. The cocktails changing every season always have you in the right mood, and let’s not forget half priced bottle of wine on Thursday’s! The chef always keeps you guessing with the weekly specials and the ole reliables never disappoint! It’s the spot!
Stopped in here with my husband for lunch while traveling. We shared the chicken pimento egg rolls which were very good. He had a local IPA and I had the seasonal sangria. I expected a white sangria since the season is spring and red was more festive of winter, but it was good regardless. My husband had the social cheesesteak with fries that was great. I had the Buffalo chicken salad. The chicken on the salad was good, but the lettuce was wilty. We shared a slice of the key lime cheesecake which lacked much flavor. I felt the food was overpriced. I gave a 3 star review because some things were great and some things were undesirable.
Had a quick bite with our daughter. Extremely clean place. The food was very good also. I had the ' Baltimorian' sandwich. That was just right for a delightful lunch. Our waiter Aaron was fantastic.
The service was great! It was hard to tell who my actual Server was because so many ppl came to my table asking if I needed anything. Perhaps that was part of a Social experiment LOL... idk. I had an Apple Cider adult drink that was very good. The BBQ Shrimp and Grits w/ Spinach were a delicious surprise! Could use a little less sauce but good flavor and the grits maintained a good consistency. The Apple Cider Cheesecake was not good at all... but they made up for it with the Pumpkin Bread Pudding. If I may suggest, don't get the cream cheese icing, it's tasteless. Try the Pumpkin Bread Pudding with a drizzle of caramel, a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, or a drizzling of powdered sugar icing. Overall, The Social offered a welcoming environment with great service and good food. I will visit again!
